Micommed i Series Model B5 – Adult Bilevel Therapy
The Micommed i Series B5 is a multi-mode respiratory device supporting CPAP, Auto-CPAP, BPAP, and Auto-BPAP therapy in a single unit. It is suited to patients who require bilevel pressure support in addition to standard CPAP therapy, giving clinicians the flexibility to step up respiratory support without changing devices as a patient’s needs evolve.
Like the C5, the B5 features one-button control and a sparable design, with the same integrated heated humidifier, automatic synchronisation technology, and WiFi-enabled adherence reporting. Its wider 4–30cm H₂O pressure range and adjustable rise time reflect its role as the broader-capability device in the i Series range, intended for patients with more complex sleep apnea or respiratory support requirements.
The B5 also retains full therapy data review functionality, supporting clinicians who need to track patient usage and response over time.
