Ekamove 30° Lateral Positioning System – HC
The Ekamove Lateral Positioning System is a sensor-controlled patient positioning solution designed to gently and quietly reposition patients up to 30° without manual intervention. Fully programmable, the system allows healthcare providers to tailor turning schedules to each patient’s specific needs, reducing caregiver workload while enhancing patient comfort and safety.
Integrated sensors detect irregular patient movements and send alerts to the control unit if caregiver attention is required. A memory card records turning cycles and stores diagnostic data for service support, assisting healthcare professionals in delivering reliable care every time.
Suitable for use in the community, hospitals, nursing homes, hospices and other residential healthcare facilities.
How it works
An inflatable air chamber is positioned beneath the mattress. When activated, it softly lifts the patient laterally, conforming to the natural contours of the body. Controlled via an intuitive interface, the system lets you set precise dwell times and angles for each movement cycle, ensuring optimal protection of vulnerable areas.
