The Mediair Turn Sense turns the patient for you, and keeps a record of it. It combines alternating pressure relief with lateral rotation up to 30°, and an in-bed sensor that logs every movement — so you can see whether someone is shifting on their own or being helped. Rotation switches off automatically once the bed is profiled above 35°. If the power fails, the AIR500™ system keeps the mattress inflated for over 500 hours. For patients at very high risk of pressure ulcers, including grade 4, where turning is a two-person job.
