Bed Lifting Pole for Independent Transfers

The PL3202 Lifting Pole empowers patients to maintain their independence, featuring a convenient handle that makes it easier for users to transfer themselves in and out of bed.

This is for someone who can still pull themselves up but needs something to pull on. The pole clamps to the bed frame and hangs a handle over the chest, so the person can lift their own upper body to sit forward, shift up the bed or swing their legs out — without calling for help each time. It is rated to 100kg and fits the Meditec bed range. For many people this is the difference between managing alone and needing someone in the room.
