Who is the Q-PRO2000XT Pressure Relief Mattress suitable for?
The Q-PRO2000XT is a virtually silent alternating air pressure mattress designed for people who need advanced pressure relief while being cared for at home or in a residential care setting.
Its quiet pump is particularly suited to bedroom and overnight use, providing continuous alternating pressure therapy without the level of operating noise often associated with powered air mattresses.
Ideal for:
- People with limited mobility who spend long periods in bed
- People at high or very high risk of developing pressure ulcers
- People who require advanced alternating pressure relief at home
- Bedrooms where quiet overnight operation is especially important
- Families and carers looking for responsive pressure care with added protection during a power failure
Advanced alternating pressure relief
The Q-PRO2000XT uses a 1-in-2 alternating pressure cycle to regularly redistribute pressure across the mattress surface.
Unlike systems with a fixed cycle, the alternating time can be adjusted from 60 seconds to 20 minutes, allowing pressure therapy to be tailored to individual care requirements.
Automatically responds to movement
Built-in Profile Sensor Technology detects changes in the user’s position and automatically adjusts pressure to maintain appropriate support. This helps reduce pressure points and protects against bottoming out as the person moves or the bed position changes.
Quiet operation with added reassurance
The Q-PRO2000XT has been designed for virtually silent operation, making it particularly suitable where an alternating air mattress needs to operate throughout the night.
The integrated AIR500™ System can maintain mattress inflation for more than 500 hours during a power outage, while the quick-release CPR function allows the mattress to deflate in approximately 10 seconds when required.
Suitable for patients assessed from at risk to very high risk of developing pressure ulcers, including use up to Grade 4 pressure ulcers.
Suitable for patients AT RISK to VERY HIGH RISK of developing pressure ulcers.
