The Mediflex is a hybrid pressure relief mattress for people who need reliable pressure care now, with the flexibility to increase support later if their needs change.

It can be used on its own as a self-regulating, non-powered mattress, with no pump, power supply or continuous noise. If additional pressure therapy is required, the optional air pump can be connected to convert the same mattress into a powered alternating pressure system — without replacing the mattress.

Two pressure care options in one mattress

2. Powered alternating pressure relief — when more support is needed

If care needs change, simply connect the optional controller pump to convert the Mediflex into a powered alternating pressure mattress. The system then operates on a 10-minute alternating cycle, continually changing pressure across the mattress surface.

Comfort and protection where it matters

An i-Kool gel-infused viscoelastic top layer provides additional comfort, with targeted gel therapy around the heel area. The multi-stretch waterproof cover is designed to help reduce shear and friction.

The Mediflex is suitable for people assessed from at risk to very high risk of developing pressure ulcers, with a maximum user weight of 200kg.
