The Advantage Sit-to-Stand Hoist is designed for someone who can still bear some weight through their legs but needs help getting safely into a standing position. Unlike a standard patient hoist that fully lifts the person, a sit-to-stand hoist supports them as they come up through standing, allowing them to take a more active role in the transfer and continue using the strength they have.
An adjustable knee pad and anti-slip footplate provide support and stability while standing, while four sling anchor points securely connect a compatible sit-to-stand sling. The hoist also has a manual emergency release, rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a safe working load of up to 225kg.
