EKA Layer Antidecubitus Gel Overlay

The EKA Layer Anti-Decubitus Gel Overlay is designed to provide pressure relief and comfort for those at high risk of developing pressure ulcers. It features an 8 cm thick combination of viscoelastic foam and gel which redistribute pressure evenly across the body. This helps minimise localised stress on vulnerable areas such as the heels, sacrum, and shoulders, significantly reducing the risk of tissue breakdown.

The overlay is encased in a high-performance bi-elastic incontinence cover, which stretches in multiple directions to further aid pressure redistribution and reduce shear forces. The cover is washable at temperatures up to 95°C, ensuring optimal hygiene and durability. For added protection, it includes a concealed mite-proof zipper, safeguarding against allergens and supporting a hygienic care environment.
