Mediair Turn Mattress – Alternating Pressure Relief and Rotation Therapy

The Mediair Turn mattress combines alternating pressure relief and rotation therapy in one. The innovative design allows for maximum pressure relief along with assisted repositioning for the most complex of cases.

The dual layer of 28 cells results in greater surface contact area and a reduction in interface pressure. With the frequent cycle time of 5 minute to 20 minute intervals, the Mediair Turn relieves pressure more often than competitor’s products.

Regular turning and tilting of the patient to 30° on either side at set intervals effectively redistributes pressure away from bony prominences. This proactive approach significantly reduces the risk of pressure ulcer development. The adjustable cycle time allows caregivers to set intervals from 30 minutes up to 210 minutes, in 30-minute increments, to tailor repositioning to each patient’s individual needs and clinical condition.

The mattress also features intelligent Profile Sensor Technology, which constantly monitors patient movement and automatically adjusts pressure in real time. This responsive system helps maintain optimal support, prevents bottoming out, and minimises the formation of pressure points, promoting safer and more comfortable care.

For enhanced patient safety, the turning function is designed to pause automatically when the bed is raised to 35° or more, providing seamless compatibility with clinical procedures and ensuring patient comfort at all times.
