The Fortissimo is a heavy-duty bariatric profiling bed designed for people who need more space, support and weight capacity than a standard hospital bed can provide.

With a maximum patient weight of 270kg (42 stone) and a choice of 120cm, 140cm or 160cm widths, it provides a wider, supportive sleeping surface while giving family members and carers more room to assist with repositioning and everyday care.

Designed for safer, easier everyday care

The Fortissimo features electric variable height adjustment, allowing the bed to be lowered for easier access and raised to a more practical working height when care is being provided.

The 120cm and 140cm models adjust from 33cm to 81cm, while the 160cm model adjusts from 38cm to 72cm.

Its profiling sleeping surface allows the user’s position to be adjusted for greater comfort in bed, while the generous width options provide additional room for movement and assisted repositioning.

Built for bariatric support

The Fortissimo combines a robust 400kg maximum load capacity with a 270kg maximum patient weight.

It is available in three mattress platform widths — 120cm (4′), 140cm (4’6″) and 160cm (5′) — allowing the bed size to be selected according to the user’s individual requirements and available room space.

Fortissimo bariatric folding side rails and a key-lockable handset provide additional support and control. Compatible accessories include a bed lever, lifting pole and central castor braking.
