The Move Assist Patient Transfer Aid is designed for someone who still has enough strength in their legs and arms to help themselves stand, but needs support to move safely from one place to another. Rather than being lifted in a hoist, the person holds the crossbar and uses their own strength to pull themselves into a standing position, allowing them to take a more active role in everyday transfers.
It can be used for transfers between a bed, chair, wheelchair or commode, and the adjustable legs allow the Move Assist to be wheeled directly up to a toilet for easier toileting and greater dignity. Padded split seats provide a secure place to sit during the transfer, while braked rear castors and sling hooks provide additional support and security. It has a safe working load of up to 200kg.
