The EKA Therapie Mattress is designed to help prevent and treat pressure ulcers, giving patients comfortable, supportive care during extended bed rest. Removable foam segments target pressure relief in key areas like the sacrum, heels and shoulders. The healthcare team can rearrange these segments as a patient’s needs change, without having to replace the whole mattress.

The mattress is made up of several layers, including a strong support foam with reinforced edges. Inside, premium cold foam sections can be adjusted based on a patient’s weight and ulcer severity, with softness varying by body area for more personalised support. An extra 4cm layer of viscoelastic foam helps prevent pressure points forming when the patient changes position.
